Instruction
The Reflo Cup helps in teaching your child how to drink properly from traditional open mugs, glasses, or cups. Regardless of the tilt of the Reflo cup, a patented insert regulates the amount of flowing liquid to aid in developing correct drinking. The insert lets your child drink from every side around the rim of the cup.
- cup capacity: 175 ml
- suitable for children from 6 months
- recommended by speech therapists and orthodontists
- an alternative for sippy-cups (doesn’t require sucking)
- phthalates and BPA free
- easy to use and clean
Care and handling Instructions:
1. Wash the cup and the power supply before use (warm water and liquid are sufficient, do not use sharp washcloths, do not scald, do not sterilize, water temperature max. 45 degrees))
2. Pour the drink, maximum 170 ml or less, for children who are just starting to learn how to drink, pour a small amount into the cup so that the child gets used to the fact that the liquid flows out by gravity. Remember that juice, tea or other drinks containing dyes may have the color of tea.
3. Place the insert evenly with the handle up
4. Then press the insert with two fingers to fit it to the cup and prevent it from falling out. If the child pulls the insert out, press it even harder.
5. The shape of the insert has been designed to tighten in the inclined walls of the cup, but this requires appropriate pressure from the top, preferably using two fingers.
6. Pressing too lightly may result in incomplete tightening of the insert, which affects its functionality.
7. The mug is ready to use!
Give it to your child and teach him to drink normally, like from an ordinary container. 8. The insert will regulate the flow of the drink.
Younger children and infants should be given a cup with assistance as when feeding with a bottle.
9. Removing the Reflo insert - twist slightly and pull the insert upwards.
